Portable Dog Prison Spotted in Toronto
I was walking around Yonge & Eglinton the other day taking in the fresh, spring scenery when I heard a small cry for help. I turned to see this poor, little dog trapped in a mobile prison:
I can only imagine that the dog must have done something horrible to warrant such extreme punishment. The public humiliation of being paraded around in a tasteless, bright blue dog stroller is bad enough, but it’s even worse when you have to endure your chain-smoking owner’s arduous shopping sprees. Poor, poor doggy.
UPDATE [May 1, 2008]: I just spotted another one! This one had two doggies in it, and the owner was jarring them about while trying to get them down the stairs into the subway. I helped her carry it down the stairs, but just before I was about to liberate the imprisoned dogs, a larger dog entered the station. I figured the big dog might mistake the little dogs for chew-toys and try to eat them, so I was forced to abandon my liberation attempt.
